A.D. PoseyWrite what speaks to your soul.
About This Quote
Write what speaks to your soul. When I was trying to write a poem, I realized that I had been trying to write what others were telling me to write. And, as a result, my poems were not really speaking to my soul. So, instead of writing what someone told me to write, I began writing the poems that came from my soul.
You will start doing the same thing you had been doing, and then you will recognize that it wasn’t your soul that was speaking. When you do this, you will begin writing from your own unique voice instead of trying to write the way someone else thinks you should write.
